Project Overview

The power is transmitted to the national grid through a 132 kV transmission line from the powerhouse at Ghattegadh to the Balanch substation, contributing significantly to Nepal’s energy supply. The project generates around 264 million units (kWh) annually, helping support national electricity demand and promoting regional economic development.
