Project Overview

The Satbajh–Shreebhawar–Hat–Darchula road (Satbajh → Shreebhawar section) is a provincial / national road-upgrading project in Baitadi that forms part of the wider Mahakali Corridor / highway improvements connecting communities across Sudurpashchim Province and improving access toward Darchula. The work includes widening, pav­ing (bituminous surfacing), drainage and structure (retaining walls/bridges) works along the Satbajh–Shreebhawar stretch (chainage ~6+000 to 20+100) to convert dirt/track sections into all-season motorable road and connect local markets, border points and district headquarters.
